A Lot Pop-up Cafe

Visual identity, Experience design

Self-initiated

2017

A Lot is a Korean pop-up cafe, a collaborative food event with June Seo and Sol Baek, which was open in Helsinki for eight Sundays. Its name means a small piece of ground (lot) where we wanted to seed inspirations, cultivate ideas, and harvest fun with people through food experience. As a research on social food, Korean food and tea were presented using the connection between visual features and tastes.

Scope of work
: Visual identity, promotional materials, food experience design, pop-up cae running, food preparation, customer service

A LOT Trio is our tea tasting menu which you can start from a seed (cassia seed), continue with a root (solomon's seal) and finish with a grain (roasted barley). This way, we may be able to feel, taste, and thoroughly understand the course of nature.
