DDP Expedition Project is a guide for students to explore and to learn about the historical background and characteristics of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, South Korea. As a multi-cultural complex, DDP is where new design trends begin and cultures are exchanged, and also where the futuristic values of design meet the historical, cultural, social, and economic characteristics of the Dongdaemun area.

June Seo, a community designer, and I created a layout of the student education program developed in collaboration with Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and school teachers. Divided into two parts, 'architecture & design' and 'history & culture,' this expedition program invites students to participate in 1-hour-activities, encouraging them to explore the place to discover hidden stories.
